Privacy Policy

個人情報保護方針

Oak Drift Zone Co., Ltd.(以下「当社」)は、お客様の個人情報を大切にお預かりし、以下の方針に基づき適切に取り扱います。

Oak Drift Zone Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "the Company") is committed to handling personal information responsibly, in accordance with the policy set out below.

Established: April 2026

1. Purpose of Collection

個人情報の収集目的

We collect personal information such as your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form, and, where relevant, to provide requested visitor guidance regarding our trails and seasonal programs.

2. Scope of Use

利用目的の範囲

Personal information collected through this website is used exclusively to respond to your inquiry. It is not used for any other purpose, and it is never sold, rented, or otherwise provided to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

3. Cookies Notice

クッキーについて

This website uses a minimal set of cookies required for basic site functionality only, such as remembering the state of the navigation menu during your visit. We do not use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral profiling.

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

第三者への開示

We do not disclose personal information to any third party, except where disclosure is required by law or by a lawful request from a public authority.

5. Retention Periods

Trail-enquiry emails are kept for one year after the last reply, then erased. The seasonal-walks newsletter stores an address only while the subscription is live; unsubscribing clears it within 30 days. Server logs — IP address, pages visited, timestamps — rotate every 90 days and are read only in aggregate, to learn which forest routes people actually plan around.

No advertising or cross-site tracking technology is present on this site. Photographs taken along the Akiha ridge occasionally include passers-by; anyone who recognises themselves may request removal and we will replace the image within two days.

6. Contact

Oak Drift Zone, 1840 Furutsu, Akiha Ward, Niigata City, Niigata 956-0847, Japan. Phone +81 250-22-1700. Disclosure, correction and deletion requests are honoured within fourteen days of identity verification.

7. Outsourcing and Cross-Border Transfer

Server hosting is the single outsourced function, contracted to a domestic provider under a confidentiality agreement reviewed annually. No personal data leaves Japan. Trail-enquiry attachments (route sketches, photos of gear) are stored alongside the enquiry and deleted on the same one-year schedule.

8. Policy Revisions

Revisions to this policy take effect when published on this page. Substantive revisions — a new purpose of use, a new contractor — are announced on the top page fourteen days in advance. The revision history for the past three years is kept at the foot of this page.

9. Questions and Feedback

Questions about this policy are answered within five working days. Feedback published on the site appears with initials only, after the writer has confirmed the wording. Aggregate readership statistics contain no personal data and inform only which forest routes get surveyed next season.
